
Prof Edson Gandiwa is a wildlife ecologist and currently a Professor of Wildlife Conservation and Management, and Dean in the School of Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation at Chinhoyi University of Technology, Zimbabwe. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Health from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe, a Master’s degree in Tropical Resource Ecology from the University of Zimbabwe, and a Doctorate degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands. To date, he has (co)authored over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings/papers, and has presented research papers at over 40 conferences. His current research interests include ecology, wildlife conservation, community-based natural resources management, and environmental science.
